

Slovak Bethlehem is situated in the village Rajecká Lesná and was carved by the woodcarver Jozef Pekara. One would think that the creation of this masterpiece took 1 or 2 years, but it took Mr. Pekara more than 15 years to create this original, unique Bethlehem.
The Bethlehem is 8.5 meters wide, 2.5 meters deep and 3 meters high and contains more than 300 figures, of which are approximately 200 moving. They represent the culture, trade and Slovak crafts.
