Day 1

Oct 13 Monday: Welcome to Slovakia!

Our adventure begins with a warm welcome at Vienna Airport! We’ll head straight to Bratislava, where the city’s charm will greet us. After a two-hour tour, we’ll explore the grand Bratislava Castle—an iconic landmark.

From there, we drive to Trenčín, where a cozy evening stroll through its charming square awaits.

Overnight at the elegant Hotel Elizabeth. Let the journey begin!

Day 2

Oct 14 Tuesday: Castles and Folk Traditions

Today, we dive into Slovakia’s heart. We start with the impressive Trenčín Castle, perched high above the town. Then, we continue to the fairy-tale Bojnice Chateau—one of the most beautiful castles in Slovakia. We’ll also visit Čičmany, a village frozen in time with its stunning, painted wooden houses.

To unwind, we’ll relax in the healing waters of the Rajecké Teplice spa. Dinner and overnight in Žilina.

Day 3

Oct 15 Wednesday: Into the Wild Heart of Slovakia

Get ready for a scenic drive to the Orava region! We’ll explore the breathtaking Orava Castle, a fortress with a dramatic history. Next, we visit the Open-Air Museum in Zuberec, where we step into Slovakia’s past.

As the day draws to a close, we’ll head to the High Tatras and check in to the luxurious Grandhotel Praha, our beautiful haven in the mountains — a safe and welcoming place, where we’ll spend the next four nights.”

Day 4

Oct 16 Thursday: Peaks and Treetopath

The day starts with an unforgettable ride on a cable car to Lomnický Peak, Slovakia’s second-highest mountain. From the top, the views are beyond stunning.

Next, we’ll take cable car and walk among the treetops at Bachledova Dolina—a real adventure in the forest canopy! We’ll return to the Grandhotel Praha for a well-deserved evening of relaxation. High-altitude thrills, all day long!

Day 5

Oct 17 Friday: History and Adventure on the Water

We begin with a visit to the unique Articular Church in Kežmarok, a UNESCO-listed gem. Afterward, we’re off on an exciting rafting adventure down the Dunajec River, where the stunning cliffs and peaceful waters create an unforgettable experience.

We’ll also stop at the charming Ľubovňa Castle and explore the Nestville chocolate factory—sweet memories guaranteed! Overnight at the Grandhotel Praha.

Day 6

Oct 18 Saturday: Wonders of Wood and Stone

Today, we step back in time. In Levoča, we’ll see the world’s tallest wooden gothic altar, a true masterpiece. Afterward, we’ll wander through Košice, Slovakia’s second-largest city, and enjoy lunch in its vibrant heart.

With so much history at every turn, it’s a perfect blend of culture and adventure! We return to the High Tatras for another peaceful evening.

Day 7

Oct 19 Sunday: Exploring Slovakia’s Soul

We start with a visit to Banská Bystrica, where we’ll learn about Slovakia’s WWII history. A stroll through the charming town square and lunch will fill us up with local flavors.

On our way to Banská Štiavnica, we’ll stop at the wooden church in Hronsek, a quiet, beautiful spot. We’ll end the day in the cozy Hotel Cosmopolitan in Banská Štiavnica. Every moment is a story waiting to be told.

Day 8

Oct 20 Monday: A Grand Final

On our final day, we’ll walk through Banská Štiavnica, a town that feels like a step into history. Next, we head to Nitra, home to Slovakia’s oldest castle—an ancient stronghold that once ruled over the first Slavic state.

Our adventure wraps up with a drive to Vienna Airport, but the memories of Slovakia’s beauty and adventure will stay with us forever.
